• The HPE Storage File Controller features an Intel Xeon-Bronze processor with 16 GB of memory and is designed to connect to HPE MSA arrays and other small SAN environments.

• The HPE Storage Performance File Controller features an Intel Xeon-Silver processor with 32 GB of memory and is designed to connect to HPE 3PAR and HPE Nimble Storage arrays and other larger SANs.

• Both HPE File Controllers are built on HPE ProLiant DNA and Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2016.
